Anna Merle studied English and French in Dortmund in the 1970s and has worked since as a translator and foreign language correspondent for various enterprises and authorities, e.g. British Forces Germany, Army Legal Aid, Mannesmann DEMAG Fördertechnik, Thyssen Umformtechnik, Deutscher Amateurfunk, TU Munich – Ecological Chemistry and Environmental Analysis, GSF in Neuherberg, Deutsche Genossenschaftsbank Legal Department, and University of Paderborn – Experimental Physics.

She joined the SST group in 2011 and has since been working as the administrative officer providing the non-native German group members with full service as far as translating, interpreting, finding accommodation and local registration matters are concerned. She acts as a language mediator for our foreign group members and the HR as well as local and state authorities.
